HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU BALITA TENTANG DIARE PADA BALITA

Latar Belakang : Angka kematian global untuk anak di bawah lima tahun telah menurun dengan rata – rata 2,5 % setiap tahun selama dua dekade terakhir. Hampir 75 % dari kematian anak disebabkan oleh enam penyebab salah satunya yaitu diare. Diare adalah salah satu dari gangguan kesehatan yang mengganggu sistem pencernaan dan berpotensi menurunkan kualitas hidup. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari 18 Puskesmas(   ), Puskesmas Lubuk Landai merupakan Puskesmas yang kejadian diarenya sangat tinggi dibandingkan Puskesmas yang lainnya. Dimana jumlah kasus diare pada tahun 2011 sebanyak 579 balita (14,08 %). Sedangkan pada tahun 2012 jumlah penderita diare sebanyak 461 balita

Metode Penelitian: yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analitik yaitu peneliti hanya tidak akan mendeskripsikan saja tetapi sudah menganalisis hubungan antar variabel dan   disajikan dalam tabel distribusi frekuensi.

Hasil : Ibu berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 41 responden (43,6 %). Sebagian besar Ibu yang memiliki sikap negatif sebanyak 60 responden (63,8 %). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan kejadian diare pada balita di Puskesmas (   ) tahun 2013.Tidak ada hubungan antara sikap ibu dengan kejadian diare pada balita di Puskesmas Lubuk Landai Kabupaten Bungo tahun 2013.

Background: The global mortality rate for children under five years has declined with - average 2.5% per year over the last two decades. Nearly 75% of child deaths are caused by one of the six causes of diarrhea. Diarrhea is one of the health problems that interfere with the digestive system and potentially lower quality of life. Methods used in this study is the analytic researchers will not only describe but has also analyzed the relationship between variables and frequency distributions are presented in the table.

Results: A total of 41 mother knowledgeable respondents (43.6%). Most of the mother who has a negative attitude as much as 60 respondents (63.8%). There was no association between maternal knowledge with the incidence of diarrhea in infants in (   ) 2013.Tidak year was no relationship between maternal attitudes with the incidence of diarrhea in infants in Puskesmas Lubuk Ramps Bungo in 2013.
