GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN JENIS KELAMIN  LANSIA YANG 

MEMANFAATKAN POSYANDU LANSIA

Latar Belakang: Dari sensus tahun 2011 yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) seluruh Indonesia berjumlah 237.641.326 jiwa dengan jumlah penduduk lansia 18.118.699 jiwa. Di Provinsi Jambi tercatat 261.680 jiwa merupakan lansia dengan total penduduk 309.265 jiwa. Di Kabupaten (   ) tahun 2012    jumlah penduduk lansia sebanyak 12.738 orang yang mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan sebanyak 9.892 (77,70%). Di Puskesmas Pematang Kandis tahun 2012    jumlah lansia 7.348 yang mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan sebanyak 2.131 (29,00%).

Metodologi penelitian: Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan deskriptif. Sampel yang diteliti 73 orang di (   ). Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November 2012 sampai dengan Juni 2013. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara melalui kuesioner.

Hasil penelitian: Berdasarkan pengetahuan sebagian besar lansia tidak memanfaatkan posyandu lansia yaitu 63 orang (80,30%). Berdasarkan jenis kelamin laki-laki 45 orang (71%).

ABSTRACT

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE AND GENDER OF ELDERLY IN VIL-LAGES UTILIZING POSYANDU IN WORK AREA

Background: From the 2011 census conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) throughout Indonesia amounted to 237 641 326 inhabitants with a population of 18,118,699 souls elderly. In Jambi province recorded 261 680 people is elderly with a total population of 309 265 inhabitants. In Merangin District in 2012 as the elderly population 12 738 people who get health care as much as 9,892 (77.70%). At the health center in 2012 Berm Kandis 7348 the number of elderly who receive health care as much as 2,131 (29.00%).

Methodology of the study: The study was conducted with descriptive design. Samples studied 73 people in the Village District Causeway (   ). The study was conducted in November 2012 until June 2013. The data was collected through a questionnaire by interview.

Results: Based on the knowledge of the majority of elderly people do not take advantage of the elderly posyandu 63 people (80.30%). By sex boy 45 people (71%).
