GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN IBU HAMIL TENTANG CARA
 PERAWATAN PAYUDARA

Latar Belakang: Kurang dari 15 % bayi di seluruh dunia diberi ASI ekslusif selama 4 bulan dan seringkali pemberian makanan pendamping ASI tidak sesuai dan tidak aman. Data menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ASI pada bayi berumur 2 bulan hanya 64 %. Persentase ini kemudian menurun cukup tajam menjadi 46 % pada bayi berumur   2-3 bulan dan 14 % bayi berumur 4-5 bulan. Keadaan lain yang memprihatinkan    adalah 13 % dari bayi berumur dibawah 2 bulan telah diberi susu formula dan  15 % telah diberi makanan tambahan. Perawatan selama kehamilan bertujuan agar selaman masa menyusui kelak produksi ASI cukup.

Metode Penelitian: yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu peneliti hanya akan mendeskripsikan variabel tertentu dan disajikan dalam tabel distribusi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa (   ) mulai dari bulan November 2013 sampai dengan Juni 2014. Teknik total sampling dengan sampel berjumlah 78 orang.

Hasil Penelitian: Didapatkan hasil bahwa ibu berpengetahuan kurang dengan           kelompok umur 20-35 tahun sebanyak 18 responden (60,0 %). Ibu berpengetahuan kurang dengan pendidikan SMA sebanyak 10 responden (33,3 %). Ibu berpengetahuan kurang dengan pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga sebanyak 21 responden (70,0 %). Ibu berpengetahuan kurang memperoleh informasi mengenai cara perawatan payudara melalui petugas kesehatan sebanyak 13 responden 43,3 %.

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE OF CARE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN

BREAST 

Background: Less than 15% of infants worldwide breast-fed exclusively for 4 months and complementary feeding often inappropriate and unsafe. The data indicate that breastfeeding infants aged 2 months only 64%. This percentage then declined sharply to 46% in infants aged 2-3 months and 14% of infants aged 4-5 months. Another concern is the state of 13% of infants under 2 months has been given infant formula and 15% has been given extra food. Care during pregnancy aims to selaman lactation milk production pretty soon.

Methods: used in this research is descriptive quantitative research which will only describe specific variables and are presented in the table distribution. This research was conducted in the village of (   ) ranging from November 2013 to June 2014. Sampling technique to sample amounted to a total of 78 people.

Results: It was found that the results are less knowledgeable mothers in the age group 20-35 years were 18 respondents (60.0%). My mother-rang knowledgeable with high school education by 10 respondents (33.3%). Mothers with jobs are less knowledgeable Housewife many as 21 respondents (70.0%). Mothers are less knowledgeable about how to obtain information through the health workers breast care by 13 respondents 43.
