GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG PIJAT BAYI

Latar belakang : Masa bayi adalah masa keemasan sekaligus masa kritis perkem-bangan seseorang. Jumlah bayi di Indonesia 4.372.600 jiwa dari 21.805.008 balita atau 20,05%. Pijat pada bayi dapat bermanfaat untuk merangsang syaraf motorik, memperbaiki pola tidur, membantu pencernaan dan meningkatkan ketenangan emosional pada bayi. Survey yang penulis lakukan di Desa Sido Rejo melalui wawancara dengan 5 orang ibu yang mempunyai bayi, 4 diantaranya tidak menge-tahui tentang pijat bayi, dan hanya 1 ibu yang mengetahui tentang manfaat pijat bayi.

Metode Penelitian : Yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif  yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan ibu tentang pijat bayi di (   ). Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 35 orang .

Hasil Penelitian : Didapatkan hasil bahwa Ibu berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 28 responden (80,0). Ibu berumur 20-35 tahun memiliki pengetahuan kurang se-banyak 25 responden (71,4 %). Ibu tidak bekerja memiliki pengetahuan kurang sebanyak 26 responden (74,3 %).

ABSTRACT

OVERVIEW OF KNOWLEDGE OF INFANT MASSAGE

Back ground : Infancy is a critical period of the golden age as well as the development of a person. Number of infants in Indonesia soul of 4.3726 million or 20.05% 21,805,008 toddler. Infant massage can be beneficial to stimulate the motor nerves, treat mend sleep patterns, aid digestion and boost the emotional tranquility in infants. Survey conducted by the author in the village of Sido 5 rejo through interviews with mothers who have babies, 4 of them did not know about baby massage, and only one mother who knows about the benefits of infant massage.

Research Methods : used in this study is descriptive aims to reveal the knowledge of mothers about infant massage in the village of (   ). Samples used as many as 35 people.

Research Results : The obtained results that Mrs. less knowledgeable many as 28 respondents (80.0). Mothers aged 20-35 years had less knowledge of as many as 25 respondents (71.4%). Mothers do not work have less knowledge of as many as 26 respondents (74.3%).
